Transmitting the truth of God's Word through television
|
On a hunting trip in the mountains of Colorado in the fall of 1988, Mac Hammond received direction from the Lord to launch a local television ministry. With the purchase of some basic equipment and with the help of three previously inexperienced staff members, Sunday morning church services began to be recorded for television in May of 1989. On August 6 of that same year, the first television broadcast from Living Word Christian Center aired on the local ABC affiliate.
In 1995, the television broadcast gained national exposure when it began airing on the Inspirational Network with a new look and a new name… the Winner's Way with Mac Hammond. During that same time period, we also began challenging and motivating people as they prepare for work each morning with practical wisdom from the Word on the Winner's Minute. The Winner's Minute can be seen each day at winnersminute.org. Currently, the Winner's Way is a top-notch broadcast that reaches the Twin Cities and beyond. Over the years We've received thousands of testimonies from people who've been blessed by our broadcast. With this broadcast, Mac Hammond Ministries is effectively using the medium of television to reach beyond the walls of the church and minister to many
with this winning message.
