The Prayer of Agreement

…If two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven," Matthew 18:19.

This verse is the foundation for the prayer of agreement or "united prayer." The following keys are essential in the prayer of agreement.

— You don't have to be in the same room, or the same country for that matter, to pray the prayer of agreement with someone. It is when two people "on earth" pray in agreement, "it shall be done for them."

— Some people interpret this verse to say, "If two of you agree on earth, it shall be done." They leave out a key element in the prayer of agreement, which is "asking." God wants you to make a specific request to Him.

— The last key in the prayer of agreement is that both parties must be in "agreement" with what they are praying about; therefore, the request you make of God has to be in accordance with God's Word. Find a scripture to base your faith on.

Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus; and based on the scripture in Isaiah 53:5, which states "by his stripes we are healed," I ask you Father for supernatural healing in my body from diabetes. I ask in faith, according to Your Word and I believe I receive it now. Thank You, Father.
