Our Vision
|
On November 12, 1980, Mac and Lynne Hammond stood before a gathering of 12 individuals in a small meeting room at the Radisson Hotel in Plymouth, Minnesota. There, a vision was shared, along with the Word of God. On that day, Living Word Christian Center was born. After more than 27 years, that group of 12 people has grown into an active church body of more than 9,000 members.
As an outworking of this tremendous growth, Mac Hammond Ministries was established with the goal of reaching out beyond the four walls of the church through various media—such as television, print, audio/video messages, and the Internet.
Our mission is to proclaim—in unique and practical ways to as many people as possible—the simple but life-changing truth that "God wants you to be a winner in every area of life."
